Ketchikan Shipyard improvements, built by Dawson Construction

BUILT TO CONNECT.

Harbors, hydroelectric, and the systems communities run on.

What we build

Infrastructure and marine construction

The Ketchikan Shipyard, Wrangell Heritage Harbor, and the Whitman Lake Hydroelectric project are infrastructure in the truest sense: work that keeps Alaska communities powered, connected, and working. Dawson self-performs the heavy civil and marine scopes that other contractors subcontract away.

Tides, barge schedules, and short construction seasons do not forgive poor planning. Our infrastructure work is planned backward from the constraint and executed by crews who have done it before.

Marine Construction

Floats, trestles, harbors, and shipyards built on Alaska tides and timelines.

Energy and Utilities

Hydroelectric and utility projects delivered for public power providers.

Remote Site Logistics

Barge-served sites and fly-in communities are core competency, not complication.
