Dawson Construction served as general contractor for the Vintage Park Medical Office Building, a $31 million, three-story, 42,300 square foot steel-frame healthcare facility in Juneau. Built for SEARHC (SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium) and designed by Spark Design, the building consolidates critical healthcare disciplines under one roof, including primary care, pediatrics, urgent care, laboratory, X-ray, ultrasound, behavioral health, optometry, pediatric rehab, dental, pharmacy, and adult care.
Delivered via CM/GC project delivery, Dawson managed the full scope from site preparation through interior design-build finishes, coordinating complex medical infrastructure including specialized exam rooms, imaging suites, and laboratory spaces that meet stringent healthcare construction standards. The steel-frame structure was designed to accommodate Juneau's seismic requirements while maximizing open floor plans for clinical flexibility.
Juneau patients now access a full range of healthcare services in a single modern facility, eliminating the need to travel between scattered clinics for related care. The consolidated campus improves coordination between SEARHC's medical disciplines and creates a more efficient, patient-friendly healthcare experience in Alaska's capital city, a significant advancement for a community where access to comprehensive medical services has historically required travel to larger cities.
From emergency repairs to ground-up builds, Dawson teams deliver across Southeast Alaska and Northwest Washington.
