Dawson returned to the Alaska State Capitol building to restore the original Tokeen Marble columns at the front entrance of the building. Scope of work included sealing cracks, removing stains, honing exterior surfaces, cleaning, and applying water repellent. The building was operational during construction and work had to be coordinated around special legislative sessions. The fast track project was completed in four months.
