Dawson Construction’s focus is on the health and safety of our jobsite and office personnel; subcontractors and other workers on our jobsites; and everyone in the communities we work in, while continuing to provide service to our clients during the COVID-19 event. At this time, all our jobsites are active. We are working tirelessly to update our practices and policies to incorporate social distancing and other safe work practices recommended by the CDC and federal, state and local governments to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Our offices are closed to the public, however, we remain operational during this time and our technology allows our office employees to self-isolate and work from home to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and flatten the curve. They are accessible by email and phone. We continue to monitor the CDC and federal, state, and local governments for information about this ever-changing, world-wide situation.
We are pleased to have been able to donate N95 respirator masks and negative air machines to our partners at PeaceHealth and Central Peninsula Hospital, and we continue to search for ways to support the healthcare systems and front line workers in our communities. We encourage others in the construction industry to donate what they can to the healthcare professionals working on the front line of this pandemic.
