Tyler Rental, Inc. is one of Dawson's longstanding repeat clients in Juneau, and over the years Dawson has delivered three separate facilities at their Southeast Alaska operation: an innovative storage warehouse, a fully renovated parts annex, and an 8,000 square foot shop addition.
The storage warehouse used a hybrid construction approach rare in Southeast Alaska: stacked ISO shipping containers form three sides of the building, with fabric Big Top tents erected around them and welded directly to the containers to create the walls and ceiling. The annex project completely renovated an aging 6,000 square foot wood-framed building into a modern parts warehouse with a dedicated display counter and customer access area, re-clad in durable metal panels with a new roof for decades more of Juneau weather. The shop addition is a pre-engineered metal building with overhead doors, tool storage, and dedicated office space, expanding capacity for equipment maintenance, repair, and storage.
Every phase was executed while keeping Tyler Rental's operations fully functional, ensuring their customers experienced no interruption in service during construction. Three buildings later, Tyler Rental has a complete Juneau campus built on reliable execution and a shared understanding of what equipment service operations actually require, the kind of repeat work that defines Dawson's roots in the Southeast Alaska business community.
From emergency repairs to ground-up builds, Dawson teams deliver across Southeast Alaska and Northwest Washington.
