Dawson managed the full design-build delivery of multi-family housing along Halibut Point Road in Sitka for the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium. The twenty-unit complex includes ten one-bedroom and ten two-bedroom residences connected by covered walkways and accessible pathways. Built to support healthcare workforce recruitment in rural Alaska, the project balanced cost-effective construction with durable materials suited to Sitka's coastal environment.
SEARHC now has twenty modern workforce housing units that directly support their ability to recruit and retain healthcare professionals in Sitka. The covered walkways and accessible pathways make daily life comfortable in Sitka's wet climate, and the durable construction will hold up to decades of coastal weather. For a remote community that depends on SEARHC for healthcare, this housing is not just a real estate project, it is healthcare infrastructure.
From emergency repairs to ground-up builds, Dawson teams deliver across Southeast Alaska and Northwest Washington.
