Dawson Construction completed the Roger Jobs Motors Expansion in Bellingham, Washington, a project that combined 7,200 square feet of renovations with 4,829 square feet of new construction at this premium automotive dealership representing Audi, Porsche, and Volkswagen. The entire project was executed while the dealership remained fully operational, requiring careful coordination to maintain sales and service functions throughout construction.
The expansion included a new auto showroom designed to showcase luxury vehicles, a service drive-through garage for customer convenience, new exterior siding and roofing, upgraded HVAC and electrical systems, complete interior finishes, and new paving. Designed by Zervas Group, the facility reflects the premium standards expected by luxury automotive brands.
A standout feature is the unique overhead doors at the service drive-through garage, which open at a rate of 100 inches per second, dramatically faster than conventional garage doors. This engineering solution optimizes the customer service experience while providing weather protection in Bellingham's Pacific Northwest climate, and it has become a signature feature of the facility.
Roger Jobs Motors reopened with a showroom and service facility that matches the caliber of the brands it represents. The renovated and expanded facility gave the dealership the capacity and brand-standard presentation it needed without losing a single day of sales or service. In a market where automotive brands audit their dealers on facility standards, Dawson delivered a result that passes every inspection.
From emergency repairs to ground-up builds, Dawson teams deliver across Southeast Alaska and Northwest Washington.
