Dawson renovated Bellingham's beloved 1927 Mt. Baker Theater, preserving the landmark's architectural heritage while modernizing its systems and expanding its capabilities for a new generation of audiences. The project updated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, improved accessibility, and enhanced patron amenities, all without compromising the Spanish Baroque Revival character that has made this theater a Bellingham icon for nearly a century.

The Mt. Baker Theater reopened with fully modernized systems, improved accessibility, and enhanced patron amenities, all wrapped in the same Spanish Baroque Revival character that has made it a Bellingham landmark since 1927. The building performs better in every measurable way while looking and feeling exactly like the historic theater the community loves. Renovating a building this important to Bellingham's identity was personal. It's the hometown theater, and it had to be done right.
