The E.A. and Jenny Rasmuson Community Health Center was designed to provide access to essential medical services including radiology, dental, behavioral health, a laboratory, and urgent care to a small, rural community. New construction features a single story, 13,000 square foot wood and metal framed building. Dawson self-performed much of the work, including concrete, structural work, framing, finish carpentry, siding, and the building envelope.
The Rasmuson Community Health Center gives Skagway residents access to a full slate of medical services without leaving their community: radiology, dental care, behavioral health, urgent care, and a laboratory all in one purpose-built facility. For a small, rural Southeast Alaska community, having a single, well-equipped clinic close to home is a real change in quality of life.
From emergency repairs to ground-up builds, Dawson teams deliver across Southeast Alaska and Northwest Washington.
