Bellis Fair Family Housing brings affordable homes to Bellingham in two phases, built by Dawson Construction for the Opportunity Council. Phase one is a 65-unit family housing community wrapped around a five-classroom early learning center, so that childcare and housing share a single site. Phase two adds a four-story senior housing building with 64 apartments, shared amenity space, and surface parking.

Dawson self-performs the civil scope across both phases, from fireline and utilities through site finishes. The wood-framed construction, funding-driven schedule, and inspection requirements that come with affordable housing are familiar ground for the project team.
