Dawson built a 10,000 square foot bunkhouse for Kanaway Seafoods in Ketchikan, providing housing for up to 101 seasonal fishing industry workers during peak operations. The wood-frame structure was designed for durability in Ketchikan's marine climate, with shared living quarters, bathroom facilities, common areas, and laundry, built on an accelerated schedule to be ready before the start of fishing season.

The bunkhouse was completed before fishing season, giving Kanaway Seafoods the workforce housing capacity they needed to run full operations in Ketchikan. The building accommodates 101 seasonal workers with the durability to handle years of intensive use in Southeast Alaska's demanding climate. For a fishing industry that depends on seasonal labor, reliable worker housing is not a luxury, it is the foundation of the entire operation, and Dawson delivered it on time.
