Bar Harbor Drive Down Float

Industrial/Infrastructure Project

This new 48’ by 120’ floating dock is used primarily by commercial fishermen and local emergency vehicles. Work involved the demolition and disposal of existing moorage floats, refurbishment and relocation of an existing timer net float, and new construction of an approach dock, transfer bridge, and drive down float on steel pipe piles and predrilled pile sockets. Water service, electrical, and lighting improvements were also made.
