Skagway Seawalk and Upland Development Ph 5

Government Project

The Skagway Seawalk was designed to welcome cruise ship visitors on their way to the city as well as provide a year-round park for locals. The project included construction of concrete walkways, paving, pergolas, a new restroom, and landscape amenities including benches and decorative elements. In addition to offering beautiful views of the boat harbor and surrounding mountains, the ADA accessible sea walk features interpretive panels that educate readers on city history.
