DESCRIPTION: Renovation of an occupied building on the Western Washington University campus. The building was originally constructed in 1943, and was enlarged in 1967 with a major addition. The work included abatement, demolition, excavation, an addition in the core of the building, new vertical circulation, new interior construction, new architectural finishes, new ADA compliant restrooms, and replacement of mechanical and electrical systems. The work was phased to allow continuous faculty and student occupancy during construction.
